A Bit About Me

My journey with ElleLights began in the early 2000s, after I was given a hand-painted light bulb as a gift. I remember being completely captivated by it. The way the colours glowed when the light was switched on felt magical. When I couldn’t find another one like it, I felt strangely disappointed, so I decided to try creating my own.

What started as a simple idea slowly became something much deeper. I spent hours researching bulb wattage, testing heat-resistant paints, and experimenting with techniques. There were plenty of trial and error moments, but I fell in love with the process, watching plain glass transform into something full of colour and life.

Over time, that one light bulb became the heart of ElleLights. Today, I create unique stained glass light bulbs, magical fairy jars, hand-painted rainbow glassware and beautifully scented home fragrance, all designed to bring warmth, light and personality into your space.

For me, it’s never just about decoration. It’s about how colour can lift your mood, how soft light can make a room feel safe, and how small details can turn an ordinary day into something a little more special.

Every piece I make carries a little part of that original feeling, the magic of seeing light shine through colour for the first time.
